Berthe Morisot: Impressionism's First Lady Bernard Allan Monday 19 November 2018

With her privileged background, Berthe Morisot was, perhaps, an unlikely recruit to the Impressionist cause. Yet she was at the heart of the movement in the 1870's and 1880's, showing at seven out of the eight Impressionist exhibitions.
